- Page 3 Getting Started This remote control is included with every NXT Gen, Image and Custom Image IR Heating Panel. It features an LCD display on its front, and an integrated room temperature sensor at its top. Before using your remote, you will need to pair it with your panel. To do this, please ensure that once your IR Panel is connected to the mains supply, and that the red rocker switch at the back of the panel is on, and the green rocker switch at the back of the panel is off.
- Page 4 Electronic Temperature Control The electronic temperature control function built into the heater allows you to set your desired temperature, and your heater will switch on and off in order to maintain that temperature, increasing efficiency. On the LCD screen, the temperature next to “Room” displays the current room temperature, and the temperature next to “Set”...
- Page 5 will measure the temperature 3 hours prior – so at 5:00am. Let’s now say that the temperature at 5:00am is 14 C. This gives us a difference of 7 C between the current temperature and desired temperature. In order for the panel to bring your room up to 21 C at 8:00am, it will switch on 6 minutes early for every degree Celsius it needs to increase.
