GETTING STARTED BATTERY INSTALLATION 1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit. Use a coin or a screwdriver to loosen the screw. 3. Install 3 new ‘AAA’ (AM-4/LR03) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. -

2. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF To preserve battery life, the VTech Baby’s Laptop will ® automatically power-down after approximately 35 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button. ACTIVITIES 1. Slide the on/off/volume control switch to turn the unit on. You will hear a fun sing-along song and a phrase. - Page 8 4. Press the animal buttons to learn colours, shapes, animal names and sounds and hear short tunes in the Learning Mode. In the Music Mode you will hear playful songs. In the Discovery Mode you will learn shapes, animal names and sounds and hear short tunes.

8. If there is no input to the unit after approximately 5 seconds, you will hear a fun sing-along song or encouraging phrases. If there is still no input after another 5 seconds, you will hear another phrase.
