    CHARGING BATTERIES When the “Battery level is low, that is the icon you need to charge the battery with the enclosed type-C Y-cable. Charging with AC/DC adaptor ● Plug one end of the cable into the type-C socket on the right side of the radio and other end into an adaptor then plug into the socket.

    GENERAL OPERATIONS TRANSMITTING RANGE ● The talk range depends on the environmental and terrain. It will reach (up to about 5km) in wide open spaces, without obstructions such as hills or buildings. Don’t try to use two units which are less than 1.5m (5feet) apart. If you do, you may experience interference.

    ● When you press the PTT key, you can’t listen to other radios. Make sure you do not press PTT key for listening. ● Adjust volume control if necessary. GROUP FUNCTION ( Dual Receiving and Dual Transmiting) The unit has Dual Receiving and Dual Transmiting function. It can monitor two channels at the same time, which are the Main (foreground) and Group (Background) channels, i.e., it can detect signal on either channel.

You can listen to a weather channel or set your radio to alert you to emergency weather broadcasts that interrupt routine broadcasts.
