Aero-care Vege. Compartment
Adopted a Photocatalyst Preservation function that utilizes the effect of a platinum catalyst to preserve freshness and
nutrients. Carbon dioxide suppresses the consumption of nutrients of vegetables and keeps them fresh.

以約 0.8 氣壓的 [ 真空保存 ] ，防止食品氧化，保持鮮度及營養素。
採用以白金觸媒的 [ 睡眠保鮮 ] 技術，抑制鮮度降低。
※ 所謂真空是指比大氣壓力還要低的壓力狀態。真空冰溫室內約 0.8 氣壓，比大氣壓力低，故
本公司將此稱為真空。
■ Vacuum Compartment
The Vacuum Preservation at approx. 0.8 hPa suppresses oxidation and preserves freshness and nutrients.
The Photocatalyst Preservation technology, which is also adopted for the Vegetable Compartment, utilizes the
platinum catalyst to prevent a reduction in freshness.
※ Vacuum represents a state in which pressure is lower than the atmospheric pressure. The pressure in the Vacuum
Compartment is about 0.8 hPa, which is lower than the atmospheric pressure, so Hitachi calls it vacuum.

We have devised ways of increasing the rated internal capacity by enlarging shelves, pockets and slide cases as much as possible to store more foods while using vacuum insulation to reduce the wall thickness.

利用三種除臭素材的完美組合，有效地捕捉並去除冰箱內含有硫磺系、氮系、醛系、酸系等四大異味分子。此外，並

除臭濾網具有除菌效果。

[Triple Power Deodorizing Effect]
A combination of 3 types of deodorizing materials leads to deodorize various odorous substances in the refrigerator including 4 major odors
such as sulfur, nitrogen, aldehyde and oxidization odors. Activities of bacteria collected by the filter are also restricted.
Deodorant filter has the effect of sterile filtration.
● Testing laboratory: Boken Quality Evaluation Institute, a general incorporate foundation ● Test method: Film contacting method (JIS Z 2801) ● Name of the part used for
treatment: Filter ● Sterilization method: applying oxidation catalyst to the filter ● Target: bacteria collected by the filter ● Test result: sterilization effect of 99 % after 24
hours by using a filter only. This does not always have effect on the entire refrigerator or foods.
節省能源的使用方法
1. 減少冰箱門的開閉，切勿時間過長
開閉次數多，冷氣向外流失，保冷效果差。
2. 切勿塞滿過多的食物
一旦塞滿過多的食物，冷氣的流通循環不良，不僅無法讓冰箱內均一冷
卻，而且還會消耗電力。存放食品時請適度地保留間隙。
3. 將熱的食物放冷之後再放入冰箱
將熱的食物放入冰箱時，冰箱內部的溫度升高，周邊食物的溫度也隨之升高。
4. 冰箱周邊應保留適當的間隙
若周邊無保留間隙時，冰箱無法散熱，而導致電力的浪費。
5. 更換受損的冰箱門墊圈
因受損後所產生的間隙可讓冷氣流失，而導致電力的浪費。將名片等夾
在其間，若因無法夾緊而滑落，請更換冰箱門的墊圈。

Tip for using the refrigerator wisely for energy savings
1. Open or close a door less frequently and quickly.
2. Do not overfill the refrigerator.
3. Do not place hot food in the refrigerator.
4. Provide an appropriate gap around the refrigerator.
5. Replace a damaged door gasket.

Frequent opening and closing leads to waste of energy.
Overfilling the refrigerator prevents a smooth circulation of cool air, precluding even cooling
throughout the refrigerator and consuming unnecessary power. Place food at appropriate intervals.
Placing hot food raises the temperature in the refrigerator, which, in turn, raises the temperature
of surrounding food.
Installing the refrigerator with little clearance between the refrigerator and the surrounding objects
prevents the release of heat and thus leads to the waste of power.
Cool air leaks through a damaged gasket, which leads to the waste of power. If a name card
inserted between the gasket and the refrigerator slides down, the gasket needs replacing.
