    DUCOT – Heavy Attack 2020 10 D – DESCRIPTION The basis of the 2020 Heavy Attack Appliance is a factory-built Isuzu FTS 139-260 4x4 Crew Cab Chassis. The four-door air-conditioned safety cabin is mounted on a 4x4 (dual rear wheels) configuration chassis. The FTS 139-260 Heavy Attack Appliance body is custom-built for fire-fighting and rescue operations.

The Bull Bar has a limit switch that prevents the OEM Power Cabin Tilt from operating. Lower the Bull Bar to activate the limit switch and enable the OEM Power Cabin Tilt.

    DUCOT – Heavy Attack 2020 13.1.5 Ignition Circuit Breaker There is a circuit breaker for the ignition signal located to the left of the steering wheel. This circuit breaker protects the vehicle ignition wiring in the event the additional Fire Electrical Systems develop a short circuit or otherwise draw excess current from the Isuzu vehicle ignition wiring circuit.

    DUCOT – Heavy Attack 2020 13.1.10 Portable Radio Holders There is a provision to store six portable radios in the cabin. There are four portable radio holders on the panel between the front and rear seats below the helmet holders. These are for the rear seat occupants.

    DUCOT – Heavy Attack 2020 13.2.5 Hatz 4H50TI-OPU Diesel Motor The engine is a water-cooled, four-cylinder, fuel-injected diesel that delivers a maximum output of 73.8hp (55kw) at 3000rpm. The Hatz 35L fuel tank connects to the vehicle diesel fuel system. The fuel supply to the Hatz motor can be isolated using the Pump Set Diversion Valve beside the vehicle fuel tank on the near side of the vehicle.

    DUCOT – Heavy Attack 2020 13.3.1 Water Source The Pump Inlet pneumatic switch is on the pump control panel beside the Ladder Rack pneumatic switch. The Pump Inlet Switch selects between the onboard water tank (Tank to Pump) or external supply (Inlet Suction).

    DUCOT – Heavy Attack 2020 The water from the external source can fill the tank and or supply the delivery outlets.  To fill the onboard tank, open the Backfill Valve and monitor the tank water level.  To discharge from one of the ports on the manifold, connect a Lay-flat hose with a 64mm QRT to Delivery 1 or Delivery 2.
