    Cabinet Assembly Removeeverythingfrominsidethebaseunitand placethebaseunitupsidedownonthefloor. Screw the four leveling feet into the four pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the unit. Once secure, flip the base unit upright. Open the cabinet door and locate the three pre-drilled holes on the inside of the door. Secure the front handle to the door with a screwdriver and three of the screws provided.
  • Page 7 Cabinet Assembly On the front right side of the cabinet, locate the 3 pairs of pre-drilled holes. This is where the front right support attaches to the bottom of the cabinet. Ensure that the open corner of the support is facing inwards, towards the back left corner of the cabinet.

  • Page 9 Cabinet Assembly Repeat on the opposite back support. Locate the Plumbing Assembly A. Attach the plumbing assembly to the back supports. Locate the pre-drilled holes on either side of the two back supports. Orient the pipes that the hose pipe is on the left side of the cabinet. Attach the pipe hanger on both ends of the steel pipe to each back support.
  • Page 10 Cabinet Assembly Attach the top of the unit to the front and back supports by first ensuring the wood panel is facing outwards. Then screw in the front and back supports using the provided machine screws into the pre-drilled holes. These screws should be inserted from the outside of the cabinet, and the back supports will be on the inside of the top assembly.
  • Page 11 Cabinet Assembly Screw in the other end of the daisy chain into the other LED closest to the end of the controls This will be your right LED. Next locate the power cord from one of your LED packages and secure it to the bottom side of the right LED.
  • Page 12 The plug will exit throught the pre-installed furniture grommet on the back of the cabinet. Place the reservoir on the left side of the partition in the bottom of the ZipGarden cabinet.
  • Page 13 Attach one end of the air stone tube to the air pump. Place the air pump on the right side of the vertical partition in the bottom of the ZipGarden cabinet. Run the tube through the circle cutout in the cabinet partition and attach the air stone .

Then place the water pump inside the reservoir. Run the power cable of the water pump through the circle cut out of the cabinet partition.
  • Page 15 Cabinet Assembly Locate the drip tray and the three quarter inch pipe. Attach the pipe to the bottom of the drain. Place the drip tray assembly on the top of the cabinet. Ensure the pipe points into the resevoir. Ensure that the imprint for the three towers is positioned at the back.

  • Page 19 Planting ZipGrow™ Now that your ZipGrow Farm Wall is completely assembled it’s time to plant your ZipGrow™ towers and start growing. Pulling Hook Remove the Matrix Media™ from the Tower with a pulling hook Line the media with the wicking strip, which should not protrude from the media.
  • Page 20 Fill the reservoir to the base of the upper collar (approximately 25L) with water by pouring water slowly into the drain. When filled to this volume, the ZipGarden™ is capable of operating for about 2 weeks before the reservoir needs to be cleaned and refilled (refer to the Maintenance and Cleaning section for further details).

    Finally, rinse the reservoir thoroughly before replacing it into your ZipGarden™. While irrigation is at a halt, it is a great time to also wipe the drip line, clean the drip tray, and empty any debris out of the mesh filter.

    Problem: ZipGarden is loud. Fix #1: Ensure there is adequate water in the ZipGarden. Fix #2: Check the placement of the air pump. Ensure it is sitting flat on it’s rubber feet, and not on it’s side.
