1. GENERAL NOTICES 1.1. INTRODUCTION This document is reserved for Technogym Service technicians, and is intended to provide authorized personnel with the necessary information to correctly carry out repairs and maintenance. A thorough knowledge of the technical information contained in this manual is essential for completing the professional training of the operator.
1. Always mark any parts or positions which may be confused with each other at the time of reassembly. 2. Use original Technogym spare parts and lubricants of the recommended brands. 3. Use special tools where specified. 4. Consult the Technical Newsletters, which may contain more up-to-date information on adjustments and maintenance than those contained in this manual.

Easy Lamp: Service & maintenance manual – rev. 1.0 3.2. TUBE ASSEMBLY It’s made of a transparent and painted tube assembly: painted tube contains batteries while transparent tube guarantees a correct light diffusion. Both the transparent and the painted tube assembly tube have been modified with some notches (highlighted in the picture below), in order to allow possible battery gas coming out from the tube, in case of battery issues.
It’s a 14,4Vdc (15W – 1,04A) power supply unit, used to re-charge battery and switch on the Easy Lamp the first time (or when battery are replaced, disconnected or fully empty). It has a diode in the red cable to stop possible current back from battery.
This in order to ensure a longer Easy Lamp run time by battery. But it is important, for the best performance, that both batteries basically has got the same voltage.

Place the tester probes across pins P1 and P2 and check if you measure about 13,6Vdc. To switch on the Easy Lamp press any one of the 4 numeric keys. Related program should starts.

Easy Lamp: Service & maintenance manual – rev. 1.0 Faston contacts needs to be firmly fixed. If it has any play, tight it down by pliers and fix it by adhesive tape (see picture below). See also Technical Newsletter 04/09.
