Hi I just got KJ80 Happi and wondering how the sleep mode works. Does it grout you just turned the unit off or does it actually go into a quieter mode for sleep? Also, where I am going to place the unit the cord will be across my heat and air vent will be hanging above it is there a problem with that? In sleep mode, the HAPPI KJ80 runs the motor in first gear and turns off the UV lamp after 10 seconds. It exits sleep mode when any function key is touched. The device operates at a lower noise level in sleep mode, making it quieter than regular mode.
It is not safe to place the HAPPI KJ80 with the cord across a heat and air vent, as the manual warns against running the power cord under or near heat sources.
