The shift/throttle control head will flash to indicate improper operation (see the section on the control head function). There is an i8350 or i8355 Engine Control Unit (ECU) mounted in the engine room. On the ECU module are three LED indicator lights which normally flash to acknowledge proper operation.
Operation i8350/55 Engine Interface Module The switches inside the i8350/55 allow for starting and stopping the engine. • Turn on the ignition switch at the helm. • To start the engine, turn on Emergency Start Power by pressing in the top of the Emergency Start Power Switch. The buzzer will sound.

There is a fuse on the back of both the lower station and upper Station Ignition Switch Panels. It is a 5 amp fuse, designation AGC 5A. There are five circuit breakers inside the i8350/55 Engine Interface. See image on page 14 for details.
