THEN ATTACH THE ALUMINUM BODY POST HOLDERS TO THE FRONT BUMPER AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE WITH THE 4‐40 SCREWS. INSERT THE BODY POSTS INTO THE HOLDERS AND TIGHTEN WITH THE SET SCREWS. BAG 2 Part Number Description 61002 Main Chassis Top Plate ‐ 4mm 25mm Stand Offs Attach to top plate in 6 of the 12 91719 Associated Servo Mount M3x6mm BH Associated Servo mount to Top Plate M3x10mm BH Top Plate to Stand Offs ATTACH THE 6 STAND OFFS TO THE LOCATIONS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES TO THE TOP CHASSIS PLATE USING THE M3X10MM SCREWS. ATTACH THE SERVO MOUNT WITH THE M3X6MM SCREWS.
- Page 5 BAG 3 Part Number Description 61021 ESC Tray 2.5mm M3x16mm BH To attach ESC Tray to Top Plate 6mm Stand Offs Between ESC and Upper Chassis Plate M3 Lock Nuts Back 2 screws RUN ALL M3X16MM SCREWS THROUGH THE ESC PLATE AND THE 6MM STAND OFFS. SET THIS ASIDE ALONG WITH THE 3MM LOCK NUTS TO USE LATER. BAG 4 Part Number Description 61011 Mid Body Mount ‐ 2.5mm 70216 1 5/8" threaded body post with 4‐40x1/4 BH 70220 Aluminum Body Post Holder long with set screws 4‐40x1/4in BH Body mount holders M3x22mm BH mid body mount to 10mm stand off to top chassis plate 10mm Stand Off between mid body mount and top chassis plate RUN THE 3X22MM SCREW THROUGH THE MID BODY MOUNT AND THE 10MM STANDOFF. THEN ATTACH THE BODY POST TO THE MID BODY MOUNT USING THE 4‐40 HARDWARE. INSERT THE BODY POST INTO THE HOLDER AND TIGHTEN WITH THE SET SCREWS.
- Page 6 BAG 5 Part Number Description 61001 Main Chassis ‐ 4mm 25mm Stand Offs top chassis plate to main chassis M3x10mm FH Chassis to Standoffs ATTACH THE 4 STAND OFFS TO THE MAIN CHASSIS WHERE THEY ARE NOT ALREADY ATTACHED ON THE TOP CHASSIS PLATE. ATTACH THE TOP CHASSIS PLATE TO THE MAIN CHASSIS PLATE WITH THE M3X10MM FLAT HEAD SCREWS. THEN ATTACH THE ESC PLATE AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES USING THE M3 LOCKNUTS FROM BAG 3. BAG 6 Part Number Description 61005 Front Shock Tower ‐ 4mm 61013 15* Caster Blocks ‐ Aluminum ‐ EACH M3x8mm Flat Head Castor Blocks to Chassis M3x10mm Button Head To attach shock tower to caster blocks M3 Lock Nuts To attach ball stud to shock tower ATTACH THE CASTER BLOCKS TO THE CHASSIS USING THE M3X8MM FH SCREWS. THEN ATTACH THE SHOCK TOWER TO THE CASTER BLOCKS WITH THE M3X10MM BH SCREWS. USING THE BALL STUDS FROM YOUR ASSOCIATED KIT, INSTALL THOSE INTO THE SHOCK TOWER WITH THE PROVIDED 3MM LOCK NUTS.
- Page 7 BAG 7 Part Number Description LNS1342 3x42 Turnbuckle LNS1360 3x60 Turnbuckle INSTALL THE BALL CUPS FROM YOUR ASSOCIATED KIT ONTO THE SUPPLIED TURNBUCKLES FOR YOUR CAMBER LINKS AND STEERING LINKAGES. BAG 8 Part Number Description 3528 Molded Servo Mounts (PAIR) 3526 Molded Servo Saver Extender 5242 Large Servo Saver M3x6BH To secure Hinge Pin 3mm Flat Washer For M3x6BH hinge pin screws 3mm Spacer Spacer goes between shock tower and AE shock mount 3x25mm BH Used to mount the top of the shock to the tower using the 3mm spacer and AE shock mount 4‐40x5/16 Flat Head Servo Mount to Chassis 4‐40x3/8 Button Head Servo to Servo mounts USING THE 4‐40X5/16 FH SCREWS, ATTACH THE SERVO MOUNTS TO THE CHASSIS. THEN INSTALL THE SERVO EXTENDER ONTO THE SERVO SAVER AND INSTALL ON YOUR SERVO. SAND THE BALL CUPS THAT CONNECT TO THE SERVO SAVER SO THEY DO NOT RUB AND CONNECT THE TURNBUCKLES TO THE SERVO SAVER. WHEN INSTALLING THE AE PARTS, YOU WILL NEED TO USE THE 3MM SPACERS BETWEEN THE SHOCKS AND THE SHOCK TOWER TO GIVE IT THE CORRECT SPACING. ONCE YOU INSTALL THE FRONT ARMS AND HINGE PIN, YOU WILL NEED TO DRILL A SMALL HOLE CLOSE TO THE HINGE PIN SO THAT THE FLAT WASHER KEEPS THE HINGE PIN IN PLACE LIKE THE OTHER END OF IT WITH THE ASSOCIATED SCREW. - Page 8 BAG 10 Part Number Description 61022 F'n Star Battery holder 2.5mm M3x10mm FH Chassis to Battery standoff M3x10mm BH Chassis to Battery standoff 25mm Stand Offs Battery standoff INSTALL THE 25MM STAND OFFS WHERE NEEDED TO FIT YOUR BATTERY TO THE CHASSIS USING THE M3X10MM FH SCREWS. THEN INSTALL THE F'N STARS TO THE STAND OFFS WITH THE M3X10MM BH SCREWS. BAG 11 Part Number Description 61023 Drag Riser Plate ‐ 4mm M3x20mm FH To Attach transmission to rear of the chassis M3x12mm FH To attach transmission to chassis 61019 ARB Kit ‐wire, 2 6997, 2 3x12 BH, 1 70055 collar INSTALL THE RISER PLATE WITH THE C BLOCK FROM YOUR ASSOCIATED KIT WITH TWO OF THE 12MM FH SCREWS. THEN INSTALL THE TRANSMISSION FROM YOUR AE KIT WITH THE REMAINING 12MM AND 20MM SCREWS. THE 20MM SCREWS WILL GO THROUGH THE D BLOCK. RUN THE ANTI‐SWAY BAR THROUGH THE BACK OF THE TRANSMISSION WITH THE COLLAR IN THE MIDDLE AND ATTACH TO THE REAR ARMS AS SHOWN USING THE CONNECTING RODS. OPTIONAL ‐ YOU CAN USE THE HARDWARE THAT CAME WITH THE AE KIT FOR THE ARB. YOU CAN CONNECT THE BAR TO THE FACTORY ARB LOCATIONS USING THE 6997 FROM THE BREAKOUT KIT, ALONG WITH THE 91820 BALLCUP FROM YOUR AE KIT. TRIM THE ARB WIRE AS NEEDED.

WHEN NOT USING THE SPUR GUARD, YOU WILL USE TWO OF THE .062 SPACERS BETWEEN THE MOTOR PLATE AND THE TRANSMISSION. YOU MAY NEED TO CUT A FLAT SPOT ON THEM SO THEY FIT PROPERLY. INSTALL THE WATERFALL BRACES AT THE TRANSMISSION WITH A 16MM SCREW AND A .062 SPACER BETWEEEN THE BRACES. AT THE SERVO MOUNT, USE A 12MM BH SCREW AND 3MM NUT TO SECURE THE BRACES.
