    I - Introduction Thank you for purchasing a Dcare system. The Dcare solution is a system that ensures the well-being of loved ones and the maintenance of intergenerational ties in families. Simple, discreet and effective, the Dcare solution ensures good ageing thanks to a connected bracelet.

    The signal range depends on many factors such as the presence of walls and their material. In case the house is not fully covered by the basic set of 3 Dcare Plugs, additional Plugs are available for rent as an option.

    C – Hardware requirements and compatibility Internet connection In addition to the basic Dcare kit provided at the beginning of the rental contract, the system needs an internet connection in the wearer’s home in order to feed information from the Dcare bracelet to the mobile application.

    How to install it? The Dcare Box must communicate with your Dcare Plugs to receive tracking information. Therefore, make sure that it is positioned in an open area, on a piece of furniture for example, close to your Internet routeur.

    II - Your system B – Main features All the elements of the Dcare solution work together in a complete ecosystem to give you access to a wide range of features. Here is a list of the main features and a description of what they allow.
  • Page 14 II - Your system Fall detection The Dcare bracelet is equipped with 5 on-board sensors as well as a smart algorithm, allowing it to detect the wearer’s falls. It detects both heavy and soft falls, in order to prevent any type of danger.
  • Page 15 II - Your system Activity monitoring Thanks to artificial intelligence (AI), the system analyzes the wearer’s daily habits and provides a warning in case of a break in routine via a notification from the application. A simple example: your parent is still in bed at 11am when he or she is usually up at 8am.

    LED turns blue. It then flashes blue. This mode is only useful during the configuration of the Dcare bracelet, at the end of which it will exit configuration mode by itself. You should never have to exit the configuration mode manually.

    For optimal operation and accurate indoor location, it is imperative to place the Dcare Plugs in the home with the following recommendations in mind: Move the Dcare Plugs as far apart as possible to cover the largest area in the home, in the idea of triangulation.
  • Page 20 If you want to use a power strip, make sure that it is never moved or turned off. Also avoid connecting a power strip to the Dcare Plug socket. If the socket has a lot of appliances plugged into it, an overload could damage the plug.

If a Dcare Plug is moved after learning, then it will be necessary to redo the learning process to avoid indoor location problems. If the location is not performing well enough, adding Plugs can enhance the precision.

    Short green flash then blank : cancellation of alert (request for help or fall). In case of detection of an alert or sending of a manual alert, the wearer has 30 seconds to decide to cancel the alert by pressing the button on the Dcare bracelet twice.
  • Page 24 Dcare bracelet, the Dcare Plug informs you via its indicator LED: Steady red: the Dcare Plug is switched on and is correctly configured. Off: The Dcare Plug is operating and configured but it is not supplying power to its female socket.

    IV - Miscellaneous B – Replace the battery of the bracelet To make changing the battery easier, a Torx tool is included in the Dcare starter kit. Unscrew the 4 screws on the back of the Dcare bracelet case. Remove half of the plastic case and then remove the electronic board by pulling slightly on the metal part containing the battery.

    Alertes manuelles En cas de problème, le porteur peut envoyer un signal de détresse manuel via son bracelet Dcare pour notifier le(s) superviseur(s). Pour ce faire, il suffit au porteur de presser et maintenir le bouton du bracelet pendant deux secondes.

    I - Inleiding Dank u voor de aanschaf van een Dcare systeem. De Dcare-oplossing is een systeem dat het welzijn van de naasten en de instandhouding van de banden tussen de generaties in de gezinnen waarborgt. Eenvoudig, discreet en doeltreffend, de Dcare-oplossing zorgt voor een aangename oude dag dankzij een geconnecteerde armband.

    B – Algemene aanbevelingen Dekking en binnenbereik De Dcare-oplossing is bedoeld om het welzijn van senioren in hun huis te waarborgen. Daartoe moet het systeem het hele gebouw bestrijken, zodat bewaking en detectie te allen tijde gewaarborgd zijn.

    Handmatige waarschuwingen In geval van een probleem kan de drager via de Dcare-armband een manueel noodsignaal sturen om de supervisor(s) te verwittigen. Om dit te doen, houdt de drager gewoon de knop op de armband twee seconden ingedrukt.
  • Page 70 II - Uw systeem Valdetectie De Dcare-armband is uitgerust met 5 ingebouwde sensoren en een slim algoritme, waardoor hij de valpartijen van de drager kan detecteren. Hij detecteert zowel zware als zachte valpartijen, om elk soort gevaar te voorkomen. Wanneer een val wordt gedetecteerd, kan de drager op de hoofdknop op de polsband drukken om de waarschuwing te annuleren (bv.

De Dcare stekkers en de Dcare Box worden constant gevoed door hun respectieve stopcontacten en de Dcare armband gebruikt een batterij van hoge kwaliteit: regelmatig opladen is niet nodig.

    Plaatsen van de stekkers Voor een optimale werking en een nauwkeurige plaatsbepaling binnenshuis is het absoluut noodzakelijk de Dcare stekkers in huis te plaatsen met de volgende aanbevelingen in gedachten: Plaats de Dcare stekkers zo ver mogelijk uit elkaar om het grootste gebied in huis te bestrijken, in het idee van driehoeksmeting.
  • Page 76 Als u een stekkerdoos wilt gebruiken, zorg er dan voor dat deze nooit wordt verplaatst of uitgeschakeld. Vermijd ook het aansluiten van een stekkerdoos op het stopcontact van de Dcare stekker. Als er veel apparaten op het stopcontact zijn aangesloten, kan een overbelasting de stekker beschadigen.

Als een Dcare stekker na het leren wordt verplaatst, moet het leerproces worden overgedaan om locatieproblemen binnenshuis te voorkomen. Als de localisatie niet goed genoeg presteert, kan het toevoegen van stekkers de precisie te vergroten.

Dit zorgt ervoor dat problemen worden gedetecteerd en dat de supervisor(s) op de hoogte wordt/worden gebracht.

    B - Vervang de batterij van de armband Om het verwisselen van de batterij te vergemakkelijken, wordt een Torx gereedschap meegeleverd in de Dcare-starterset. Schroef de 4 schroeven aan de achterkant van de Dcare armband los. Verwijder de helft van de plastic behuizing en verwijder vervolgens de printplaat door lichtjes aan het metalen gedeelte met de batterij te trekken.
