3 . Caut ion
• Alw ays m ak e sure t he load on t he adapter does not exceed the rated out put current of t he power supply (see t able).
• Do not use t his adapt er wit h an appliance t hat requires m ore t han 1 0 0 W .
• For 1 2 VD C car use only! I nput volt age m ust be bet ween 12VDC and 16VDC.
• Alw a ys st art t he car engine before plugging t he adapt er in t he cigaret t e socket .
• Alw a ys swit ch t he connect ed device off before disconnect ing t he adapt er.

Use

• Use t he swit ch on the front of t he device to select 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22 or 24 VDC out put , or use the USB port for a fixed
5VDC out put . Ma k e sur e t he connect ed device com plies w it h t he select ed volt age, current a nd polar it y!
• Determ ine t he proper connector plug.
• The connector t ip is posit ive. I nsert t he plug in
the j ack (see drawing) .
• I nsert t he ot her end of the plug in a suit able device
and plug t he car plug into t he cars socket. A green
LED indicates t hat t he device is powered. Switch on
the appliance.
• When using t he USB port , connect t he included
USB cable to t he USB port of t he adapter, and
insert a plug as described above. Note t hat t he plugs for USB applicat ions only fit in the j ack of t he USB cable. DO N OT
force!

Fuse

• The fuse is located inside the car plug. Sim ply unscrew t he t ip of the plug to release t he fuse.
• Alw ays replace the fuse with an ident ical rated fuse (12A) .
