INTRODUCTION
The TPM-1 Telephone Paging Module is an accessory of the DTI-1 Doorbell
Telephone Interface. It can be used to page through a Russound whole house audio
distribution system with paging input (such as the PR-4Z) or to a paging amplifier.
Paging is as simple as picking up the telephone. These instructions assume that you
have already installed or are currently installing a DTI-1 with either a Russound whole
house audio system or a paging system.
CONNECTIONS
NOTE: If you are using the Paging Module to connect to the a Russound Whole
House Audio System, you must first enable +12V trigger output by placing the
Option Switch in the On position (right).
1. Connect the Audio In of the TPM-1 to the TeleDoorBell 2 connection located on
the front of the DTI-1 via the included RJ11 Modular Wire.
2. Connect the Trigger Output +12V to the Trigger Input on the Russound paging
input.
3. Connect the Trigger Output Ground to the Ground Input on the Russound pag-
ing input.
NOTE: If you are installing the TPM-1 to an previously existing DTI-1 system it
will be necessary to disconnect the RJ11 connector from the Remote Trigger con-
nection on the DTI system and reattach them to the corresponding screw con-
nections on the TPM-1.
