Using

code, connect the

Control
jack

of the
CD
player
to
another
KENWOOD
system component
model
(see
figure
on
the 14
page)
or
receiver equipped
wlth the
same type
of
System Control jack

Notes:
1.
System components
and
receivers equipped
with
System Control
jack

are
not
available
in
certain areas (including U.K.
and
Europe
continent).
ln
this case,
do
not connect
anything
to
the
System Control jack.

following
receivers can be

KB.V1068,
KR-V86R, KR.V76R,
KR-A56R
Operation
1
. Automatic
play
operation
When
the
PLAY/PAUSE
(>, ll)
key
of this unit
is pressed,
the input
selector
of
the connected amplifier
or
receiver
is
switched
automatically
to
CD
for
playback.
2.
Synchro
recording
To
record
the
sound
from this unit onto
the tape
with
the
cassette
deck,
press
the play
(start) key
of
this unit.
The
cassette
deck
w
ll
start
recordinq
automatically,
syn-
chronrzed
with
this
un
t
starting
play.
For more
details,
refer
to the instruction
manual
of the
cassette
deck.

Remote
control
operation
with
remote
control unit
pro-
vided
with
the system component or
receiver
The
basic
operations
of
this unit can
be
controlled from
the
remote
control
unit of
the system
component or
receiver to
which this unit
is connected via
the
system
control
cord.
Should
this unit
require
servicing,
be sure
to
repack
the
unit
with
original
carton
box
and
material.
Sending
the
unit
without
repacking may result
in
damaged
finish or
malfunction.
Before repacking, be sure
to
secure
the
laser pick-up
system
with
the transportation
scTew as
follows.

Turn
the power
ON.

Press
the
EJECT
(A)
tey
and take out
the
magazine
pack.
3.
Turn
OFF
the
power.
4.
lnstall
the
transporlat;on screw.
Cautions regarding handling
of
magazine pack
o
When
inserting
the
magazine
pack into
the
player,
make
sure
that the direction of
insertion
is
correct.
.
Do not take magazine pack apart.
o
Be careful
not
to
drop,
or hit
magazine
pack
against
anything
things.
Also,
do not
apply
strong
force
to
withdrawn
trays.
.
Application of benzine,
thinner,
insecticide
or
other volatile
liquids
to the
magazine pack may damage the surface,
so
keep magazine pack away
from
such
substances.
Additional
magazine
packs
are
optionally
available
under
the model
name CDM-9O.
