When connecting Fiber Ports to each other, follow the instructions as illustrated below to make the connection correctly. A wrong connection will cause abnormal operation.

When inserting the wires, the fault status will be detected, including power failure or connection failure on the port (manageable industrial switch only) and forming a normally open circuit.

Auto MDI/MDIX means the switch can connect to another switch or workstation without changing the direct or crossover cabling.
