1. Introduction NMEA 2000 or NMEA2k/N2K, standardized as IEC 61162-3, is a plug-and-play communications standard used for connecting marine sensors and display units within ships and boats. Simarine's SN01 SiCOM NMEA 2000 Gateway module allows your PICO to transmit data of the devices connected to the PICO system. It allows control of switch banks, transmitting battery status, tank levels and some environmental information.
