- Page 5 When installation is complete, the activation dialogue will appear automatically on the computer. At the same time eGIS starts up on the GPS device and shows the license activation screen. Fill in the form and click on “Continue”. Then select activation by internet.
- Page 6 Windows Mobile Device Center. Now the device is able to use the internet connection of the PC. Then start eGIS on the GPS device. Note that the eLicense.dat file must be located in the correct directory on the GPS device (see installation guide).

- Page 8 Topcon Positioning Systems;jhooten@topcon.com 5. INSTALL TIP In some cases a red message appears at the first screen of the eGIS activation wizard on the GPS device to check the date. Change the date to the current date in the settings of the device. You find the settings in Start/System/Clock & Alarms. Then continue with the activation.
