Click [ Finish ] t o finalize driver inst allat ion.

The syst em will now ask t o rest art t he com put er. Select [ Ye s, I w a n t t o r e st a r t m y com pu t e r n ow ] .

Connect t he PCUSBVC3 t o your video source ( not incl., e.g. TV, cam era, DVD...) . Not e t hat you m ust
connect t he device t o an S- video or Com posit e/ audio ou t pu t ! Refer t o t he user m anual of your video
source t o locat e signal out put connect ors.

Connect t he USB- connect or of t he PCUSBVC3 t o a free USB port on your com put er. N ot e : for signal
int egrit y, it is not recom m ended t o connect t hrough a HUB.

The syst em det ect s t he new hardware on t he USB port and a m essage box pops up. Select [ N o, n ot t h is
t im e ] and click [ N e x t > ] .
•
Select [ I n st a ll soft w a r e a u t om a t ica lly] and click [ N e x t > ] . Follow t he inst ruct ions on t he screen.

A window m ight pop up st at ing t hat t he SM I GRABBER D e vice did not pass Windows logo t est ing; select
[ con t in u e a n yw a y] .

Click [ Finish ] t o com plet e driver inst allat ion.
•
I f any ot her com ponent s are found, please repeat t he above procedure unt il t he [ Fou n d ne w h a r dw a r e :

Verify whet her t he drivers are inst alled correct ly. Right click on [ M y com put e r ] and click left t o select
[ Pr ope r t ie s] .

Go t o t he [ H a r dw a r e ] t ab and select [ D e vice m a n a ge r ] .
•
Go t o t he [ Sou n d, vide o a n d ga m e con t r olle r s] .
•
Locat e t he [ SM I GRABBER D e vice ] . I f no exclam at ion m arks ( yellow t riangles) are shown in front of t he
device nam es, t he inst allat ion was successful. Ot herwise, rem ove t he driver, disconnect and reconnect t he
PCUSBVC3 t o re- inst all t he driver.
