CAUTION ! Before attempting to stack any Versarray™ 112 Mk III / Pro cabinets onto a Versarray™ VR
Cart, refer to a qualified professional. The VR Cart and loaded speaker array can fall over from improper
installation, resulting in serious injury and property damage. Use only the correct mating hardware. All as-
sociated rigging is the responsibility of others.
Do not attempt to load or stack cabinets onto the VR Cart unless you have read and properly understood all
instructions.
Review all Safety Warnings and Cautions in the Owner's Manual before stacking cabinet installation or attempt-
ing to move or transport the VR Cart.
Description
The Crest Audio® Versarray™ VR Cart is designed to allow the easy and convenient transport of up to three Ver-
sarray™ 112 Mk3 or three Versarray™ Pro 112 cabinets while linked together.
This capacity allows for a very quick set-up or tear-down of a line array from one venue to the next for touring
or rental applications. Featuring large heavy-duty 4" casters, including two locking casters, these provide for
reliable movement of the VR Cart over most surfaces. Slot handles front and back for easy handling and for use
with tie-down straps as needed. Truck friendly dimensions.

SAFETY WARNINGS
CAUTION! Do not transport any extra items loose in the bottom of the VR Cart.
Do not allow any items to stick out past the edges of the VR Cart, such as attached cables, safety ropes or
wires, etc. We recommend disconnecting all wiring: signal, AC, and netword cables from the cabinets
before they are moved.
Use the VR Cart only on smooth level surfaces. Use on a ramp or incline is at the user's own risk!
Before moving the VR Cart, make sure the VR112 cabinets are secure and pinned into place correctly.
Check by gently tugging on the stack while the VR Cart is standing still, and with the help of a second person
there to help stabilize the VR Cart if needed.

  • Page 4 Remove the Pivot Bar hole pin from the Angle Slider Bracket. Swing the Pivot Bar up and out of the way. See Fig. 2 and 2a Figure 2 Figure 2a Angle Slider Pivot Bar Hole Pivot Bar Bracket Preset the angle for the first VR112 cabinet to 0 degrees by removing the pin from the Lock Pin hole on the Angle Slider Bracket.

  • Page 6 Maneuver the cabinet by hand to allow the holes on the Strap Stacking brackets and the cabinet bottom strap slots to line up. This can be achieved easily by carefully setting the cabinet down initially lining up the Strap Slots on the cabinet with the Strap Stacking Brackets. Also, lining up the Rear Pivot Bar Bracket with the Angle Slider Bracket on the cabinet.
  • Page 7 The first cabinet is now in place and is now ready to receive the second and third cabinets. See Fig. 7. No more than a total of 3 cabinets are to be stacked on to the cart. More than 3 will make the cart unstable.
  • Page 8 Now prepare the second cabinet to mate with the first. Remove the bottom front quick release lock pin on the second cabinet. Do this on both sides. See Fig. 9 and 9a.   • Page 9 Preset the angle for the first VR112 cabinet to 0 degrees by removing the pin from the Lock Pin hole on the Angle Slider Bracket. Adjust the Angle Slider Bracket until the angle arrow lines up with the 0 deg. angle point as shown by the arrow labeled Angle on the Angle Slider Rail.
  • Page 10 Maneuver the cabinet by hand allowing the Locking Pin to be inserted easily into the holes mating the front hang straps with the strap slots. See Fig. 13 Figure 13 Using the handle mounted on the back of the cabinet, adjust the back of the cabinet up or down to align the Pivot Bar hole on the Angle Slider Bracket of the second cabinet to the pin hole on the Pivot Bar of the first cabinet.
  • Page 11 Procedure for Connecting a 3 Stack of VR112 Cabinets on the VR Cart to a VR Halo Start by preparing the top cabinet on the cart to receive the Halo. This is done by removing the top front quick release lock pins. Slide the front hang straps up and pin them in place using the pins that were just removed.
  • Page 12 Now prepare the VR Halo to mate with the top VR112 cabinet. Remove the quick release lock pins from the Front Left and Right Halo Ears. Also, remove the quick release lock pin from the Rear Bottom Halo Ear. See Fig. 17 and 17a. Figure 17 Figure 17a Halo Ear...
  • Page 13 Maneuver the Halo so that the top cabinets Pivot Arm is inserted into the Bottom Halo Ear and the bottom hole on the ear lines up with bushing on the Pivot Arm. Insert the quick release pin into the bot- tom hole of the ear thru the bushing.

Procedure for Placing a Stack of VR112 Cabinets onto the VR Cart NOTE: All cabinets being loaded onto the VR Cart must be set to 0 degrees angle between cabinets.
  • Page 15 Line up the hole on the Left Strap Stacking Bracket with the hole on the Left Front Cabinet Hang Strap Slot. You might have to maneuver the cart to accomplish this. That includes slightly lifting it. Once the holes line up, insert the quick release pin into the hang strap hole of the ear thru the hole in the Strap Stacking Bracket.
  • Page 16 If there is only 3 cabinets on the array on which these 3 cabinets are from, disconnect them from the VR Halo. If they are from an array of 4 or more cabinets, disconnect them from the fourth cabinet in the array.
