Thank you for your purchase of this DryLin
Engineers worldwide specify these igus
machinery, aircraft, high-tech laboratory equipment, and other machinery to replace ball
bearings and other bearings that require messy lubricants. These igus
formulated to run dry, smooth, and quiet – year after year - without any fuss.
We hope they help you get the performance you need for your future video productions.
Here are a few tips as to the use of your DryLin
• DryLin
®
linear bearings use dry, polymer lubricants for low friction
performance. They do not require any additional oils or greases, however, if
you really want to use oil please:
o Use a thin layer of a lightweight oil, like 3-In-One;
o Never use spray on lubricants (like WD-40), this will increase the friction
and may cause uneven movement;
o Never use grease as it will gum up the bearings (as well as make a
mess of your car and other equipment);
And remember, should you disassemble the 4-carriages from the plate, please follow the
assembly instructions included in this box, or call us for help.
We are happy you joined the igus camera slider community, and wish you the best of
luck with your projects going forward. If you have any questions please do not hesitate
to call us at 1-888-803-1895.
Sincerely,
