INSTALLING BATTERIES To insert batteries (not included), take the Automatic Lid (1), turn upside down and locate the Battery Compartment (5) underneath (circled). Ensuring the ON/OFF Switch (4) is in the ‘OFF’ position, press the cover of the Battery Compartment and slide downwards to reveal. -

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE Remove any bin liners from the Containers and discard. Remove the 25L Lower Containers from the Sliding Drawer. Fill with warm water and mild detergent and leave to soak for several minutes. Take the Containers to an open area (preferably outside). Using a soft sponge or cloth, scrub the inside and discard of the water. -

TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM SOLUTION Check the batteries and ensure they have been installed correctly according to the correct polarity. ABNORMAL OPENING OF THE LID Clean the Sensor (3) using a clean dry cloth. Check the Sensor (3) for debris/dirt and clean in necessary. -
