Some commonly available plumbing parts and supplies may be supplied by the installer. The recommended optional installation parts are the ACF-8 Installation kit - P008100 (includes 25 feet of 5/8" o.d. tubing, four tubing connectors, Vantage 1/2" Eductor) and the 0-1.0 gpm flow meter(P2001206).

FEEDER WATER SUPPLY The water supply to the ACF-8 should be filtered and unheated water. An in-line strainer should be used to prevent debris from entering the feeder and potentially fouling the flowmeter, solenoid valves, mining nozzles and other small openings in the feeder.

STARTUP AND ADJUSTMENT OF ACF-8 Prior to filling the feeder with Vantage® Calcium Hypochlorite Tablets: 1. Open any isolation valves on either side of the feeder. 2. If a solenoid valve or an electronic controller is used, open the solenoid valve by using a manual feed setting or turning on a chlorine feed cycle.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE TABLET HOPPER 1. Unplug any solenoid valves (if applicable) and turn the water supply to the feeder off. 2. Open the top and remove any remaining tablets in the hopper and place into a clean dry pail. 3.
Vantage® ACF-8 Automatic Chlorinating Feeder or any component part included with the ACF-8 prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or material from the original date of retail purchase and up to one year thereafter; AllChem Performance Products will replace the defective part(s) upon receipt of those same part(s) from the purchaser.
