Once the SIM chip is in the phone, turn the phone on. Press and hold the Power key on the side of the phone. - Page 6 Tick the boxes to agree to Samsung’s licence agreement and privacy policy. Then, press Next at the bottom of the screen.
- Page 7 For faster setup, press Skip. Wi-Fi can be set up later.
- Page 8 For faster setup, select Don’t copy and then press Next.
- Page 9 If you already have a Google account, enter your email address and password. If not, follow these steps to Create Account. You will need a Google account to be able to download useful applications from the Google Play Store.
- Page 10 Type in your First name and Family name (Last name) and press Next.
- Page 11 Tap the Day, Month, and Year boxes to add in your birth date. Press Next. Optionally, you can add Gender information.
- Page 12 Select or create your own Gmail address and then press Next.
- Page 13 Create a password and press Next.
- Page 14 Touch the screen and swipe upwards to read through Google’s Privacy and Terms.
- Page 15 At the bottom of the page, press I Agree.
- Page 16 For faster setup, select Skip instead of setting up a protection method.
- Page 17 The Smart Tutor app is a one-touch button on the phone to get help from Samsung Support. Leave the tick in the circle and press Next.
- Page 18 For faster setup, select Skip on setting up a Samsung account. This can be done later.
- Page 19 Press Skip to setting up the Samsung Services.
- Page 20 Press Finish. Your phone will now be ready to use.
- Page 21 How to customise your phone Customise your phone by going to the Camera app and point the Camera at the QR code below. Tap the prompt on the screen to bring you to www.leva.co.nz/digital-inclusion. Here you will find the remaining setup instructions to add useful features to your phone.
