Project Plans: Keg Beer Wall Step 2 Next, for building the base, we will build 2 simple boxes 3' wide/ 3' tall/ 16" deep. Step 3 Assemble the box using wood glue and 2 3/4" exterior screws. Tip: Make sure to clamp and level the boards as you go! No one likes a wobbly beer stand.

Use sand-able wood filler to fill all screw and nail holes. Step 11 Sand the bar down with 220 grit sandpaper. Step 12 Before installing the taps, stain or paint the keg beer wall your desired color!
