INSTRUCTIONS: HELMET ACCESSORY POWER CORD
Congratulations on the purchase of your new BITEHARDER
This product is made with the highest quality materials, to exacting specifications, that will provide you with years of
trouble-free use.
Our Helmet Accessory Power Cord is designed to work with BITEHARDER's
for your heated shield's supplied power cord, and will deliver 100% of the power required for the proper operation of your
heated shield.
To get the maximum benefit this product has to offer, we recommend you fully read and follow the "For Best Results" and
"Safety Warnings" section below before using your Helmet Accessory Power Cord.
FOR BEST RESULTS (see diagram on reverse side):
• Your Helmet Accessory Power Cord is comprised of two cords;
• The fixed length shorter cord is designed to attach to the connector block of BITEHARDER's
Light (not included), or directly to the connection port on your helmets heated shield.
• The expandable longer cord is designed to attach to your snowmobiles 12-volt RCA style accessory
connection.
• Connect the cords together to supply power to the helmet.
• To disconnect from power, it is recommended that you unplug the long cord from the short cord, or unplug the long
cord directly from your snowmobiles 12-volt accessory connection. This will protect your snowmobiles accessory
power system from a "short circuit", resulting in a blown fuse, and the long ride home with an iced-up shield.

SAFETY WARNINGS:

• This product is designed for 12-volt, negative ground systems only.
• Follow the recommended connecting and disconnecting of your power cord, as detailed in "For Best Results"
above.
• Always route your power cable in a manner that will not interfere with proper operation of your snowmobile.
• Apply cable strain relief clips to your helmet to avoid connection issues.
• Failure to follow these warnings can result in damage to equipment, loss of control, accident or serious injury.

LIMITED WARRANTY:

Your BITEHARDER Helmet Accessory Power Cord comes with a one-year limited warranty. If your power cord should

fail within the warranty period, BITEHARDER
issues related to improper installation, misuse, modifications, or other factors that fall outside of the intended use.
