INSTALLATION Before you begin learning how to use your trail camera, you will first need to install a set of batteries and insert a micro SD card. Please take the time to read the following directions and cautions: Loading Batteries Open the two latches on the right side of the camera, and then open the battery protection cover.

Recommends using a full set of new alkaline AA batteries. other batteries should not be used, as the camera may not function correctly. Anytime you load or unload batteries, make sure that the camera is OFF.

Formatting the micro SD card before using it for the first time is recommended, especially when a card has been used in other devices. This can be done using the camera’s Format function. Make sure you have backed up (saved to your computer) any files you want to keep on a previously used card, as formatting erases all files.

CAMERA OPERATION Once you’ve prepared your trail camera by properly installing batteries and an micro SD card, you could take it outside, strap it to a tree, switch it ON mode and leave-and you might get some great photos that are exactly what you wanted (The camera works with pre-programmed factory default settings).

● ON Mode The camera will take photos or videos automatically (with its current settings) when it is triggered by the PIR sensor’s detection of activity in the area it monitors. ● TEST Mode In the TEST mode, you can check and change the settings of the camera by using its built-in LCD screen.

Audio recording Opening this function, you'll be able to record sound while recording a video. Options:[On]/[Off]. Shot lag The Shot lag is referring to is the time delay between one shot and the next. It is different from the trigger speed of a trail camera(the trigger speed is the amount of time it takes for the trail camera to take and record the photo once the camera detects an animal).

The two side PIR sensors provide wider sensing angle and enhance response time. However, in some situations, you might have difficulties removing the interfering twigs, or avoiding the sunlight.

If you are looking for larger animals, such as deer or bear, the sensitivity can be turned down quite liberally, as larger animals are obviously easier to detect. However, if you are after getting photos of a rare song bird that is nesting near by, the High sensitivity might be your best option.

Time lapse When Time lapse model is turned on, the PIR sensor is not available, which means that the camera will not detect. Instead, it takes photos or records video clips automatically at your choice of intervals regardless of if there is anything in front of camera or not.

Password protection The password feature protects the cameras from intrusion. You can set a combination of four digits and letters(letters range from A to Z, digits from 0 to 9). Beep sound Open/close the button sound. Options:[On]/[Off]. Format memory card Formatting memory card will completely erase all photos on the memory card. So you will need to download all photos you would like to save. Options:[Yes]/[No]. Serial NO. Set the unique serial number for the camera. The character is four digits, each digit ranges from 0 to 9 or A to Z.
USING THE WALL BRACKET You can mount the camera on a wall or tree using the supplied wall bracket. Before mounting the wall bracket you should ensure that all existing screws are tight.The best installation height distance from the ground is about 3 ft.

WIFI FEATURE Note: ● APP Compatibility: Requires iOS 9.0 or later, Android 5.0 or later. Compatible with iOS/Android/iPad/Tablet. ● The trail camera's WiFi can not hook to internet. It is not a webcam. It work as a signal source like a router and creates independent local WiFi network with independent SSID, and only work with phone through Hunting Cam Pro App.

3. Open the Trail Cam Pro APP and click the Connect Bluetooth. Select Bluetooth Open WiFi, and then select the option named Trail Cam Pro. 4. The camera will display "Turn on WiFi successfully, please connect to the camera". The camera screen will light up and go off immediately.

Step: 1. Insert the card reader or USB cord on the USB port of the computer or laptop. 2. Go to your file folder on your computer and click on the SD card. This is typically in the (E) drive, but different computers may use different drives to locate external SD cards.
TROUBLE SHOOTING/FAQ Photos Did Not Capture any Subjects of Interest These are the result of placing the camera in an environment where there is motion associated with tree branches creating motion or an area where there is high heat in the foreground and any motion from wind. Setting a camera up over water is also a potential cause for this issue.

Still Photo or Video Quality Problems 1. Night photos or videos appear too dark a. Check the battery indicator icon to see if battery power is full. The flash will stop operating near the end of the battery life. b. You will get the best results when the subject is within the ideal flash range, no farther than 70FT.

5. Photos with streaked subject a. In some cases with low lighting conditions and fast moving subjects, the 12MP or 16MP resolution settings may not perform as well as the 8MP setting. b. If you have multiple images where fast moving subjects produce streaks on the photo, try the 8MP setting instead.
