TXP
1. Mount TXP
5 to pole.
2. Connect AC power source.
3. Connect gas source.
4. Connect breathing circuit.
5. Always perform a pre-use check before
ventilating any patients.
6. Recommended HME/HMEF bacterial/viral
filter with an efficiency
of >99.999% with a
2 cmH
O or less

flow resistance
at 60 L/min.

Percussive Ventilator (HFPV)
7. Set Frequency arrow straight
up for starting position, which
will produce a high-frequency
rate of approximately 500.
8. Connect to patient invasively or
non-invasively.
9. Turn Amplitude counterclockwise
to start ventilation.
Display will turn on as soon as ventilation pressure
is detected above 2.5 cmH
Alarms default
set 45 and 3
10. Press once for alarm
silence if needed.
Supplemental oxygen can be
added after filter
Intubated patient with Phasitron®
O for 5 seconds.
