AXPRO Interconnected Smoke Alarms

You can have up to 12 smoke detectors interconnected with around 30m distance indoors and 100m
in open space. The distance will all depend on the building construction.
Turn on the power for the first detector as shown below.
Now you will need to short press the coding button on the bottom of the first detector, The red LED
will then flash slowly on the unit when it does release the button.
Turn on the power for the second detector as shown below.
Short press the coding button on the bottom of the second detector, Again the red LED flashes slowly
once it does release the button.

  • Page 2 The two smoke detectors will now be in coding mode and the coding period is around 60 seconds, when paired successfully both units LEDs will illuminate green and produce an audible alert. If they do fail to pair, please repeat the process. To connect additional smoke detectors, repeat the previous steps, First choose the new smoke alarm you would like to add, then choose a smoke alarm already interconnected.
