The Bio Compression Systems SC-2004-DL machine may be stuck on "hold" and not resetting if the reset procedure is not followed correctly. To reset:

1. Make sure the pump is plugged in but turned off.
2. Press and hold the up, down, and set buttons together for 5 seconds.
3. When the LED screen lights up, release the buttons—this shows the compliance meter hours.
4. Press the set button one time.
5. The LED screen will turn off, and the pump will be reset.

If these steps are not done correctly, the machine may remain on "hold." Also, the machine may stay on "hold" during normal operation if it is preparing for deflation or if the play/pause button was pressed. To resume treatment, press the play/pause button again.
