The 825K complies with FCC rules gov- erning RF transmissions and interfer- ence. Any electrical changes made to the control module, pager or trans- mitter, outside the approval of Kiramek Inc, will void the product warranty and could prevent the user from legally op- erating this security system within the United States of America.

INSTALLERS, READ THIS MANUAL THOROUGHLY! I. QUICK PRE-INSTALL TEST If you are authorized to install this 825K system, conduct this simple test. Put the vehicle key in the ignition and try to start the engine without stepping on the accelerator pedal. If the engine starts, then proceed to Immobilizer Check below;...

Installation Guide and the 825K Owner’s Guide, could result in damage to the vehicle or surrounding property, or cause serious injury or even death. As the installer of this 825K system, it is your responsibility to ensure that the vehicle owner is properly informed of all the details of your installation which are pertinent to safety.
Instal l ation Tips Steps Toward a Professonal Installaton : • Secure all electrical contacts so you cannot easily break the connection by tugging on the wires. Use solder if required, and securely cover all connections with splice clips, electrical tape, heat shrink tubing and/ or corrugated tubing.

Mounting The Ma or Components Sren Bracket. Find a location in the engine compartment that is far from heatsources or moving parts such as belts or the radiator fan. Typically, the best location is on the firewall. Try to find a bolt or bolt hole that you can use to secure the mounting bracket (you will need to find an ap- propriately sized bolt).
Antenna Unt The Antenna Unit is a vital part of the 825K and must be mounted in an appropriate location to achieve the best RF reception and transmission. Consider mounting at an elevated point on the driver’s side window pil- lar, where it is in easy reach of the CALL button (keep in mind that the harness is only 78”/200cm long).
Shock Sensor The 825K shock sensor protects the vehicle by detecting light and heavy impacts to the body, upon which it sends either a Warning or Full Trigger signal to the Control Module. The shock sensor is not waterproof so only mount it inside the vehicle, preferably in a concealed location under the dash.
“ACC” and the “ON” positions but is 0v when turned to START. When you have the right wire, solder on the BLUE wire from the 6-pin harness of the 825K. Seal with tape or tubing.
8 on page 12 of the 825K Owner’s Guide for details. When you find the vehicle’s Ignition#2 wire, solder on the GREEN wire from the 6-pin (H1) harness of the 825K, and seal with electrical tape or heat shrink tubing.
The 6-pin DOOR LOCK HARNESS Interfacng wth Onboard Relay Outputs The 825K features two onboard 20A relays that can be used to interface with most common door locking systems without additional parts. The diagram below describes each wire of the 6-pin door lock harness:...
FIG.1: Interfacing with (+) 12v Control Door Locks TYPE-A TYPE-B Negatve (–)GND Lockng Systems Vehicles with negative Type-B locking systems have 3-wires at the master switch harness. Probe the three wires and you should find one constant (–)0v ground wire, with the other two wires showing (–)0v only when the door lock switch is pressed.
WARNING! If your vehicle is Type-C but you mistakenly assume it’s Type A, you might short (+)12v to GND, which will damage the door lock sys- tem and/or the 825K’s lock relays. Perform the Type-A Test on page 10. FIG.3: Interfacing with Reversing Polarity Door Locks...
See Fig.5 below. NOTE: You must program the door lock output pulse to 2.0 seconds for most Type-E vehicles. See line 9 on page 12 of the 825K Owner’s Guide. FIG.5: Interfacing with Vacuum Pump Door Locks...

H3-1 BLK wre: (–) Ground Input This wire acts as the primary ground source for the 825K. As such, it must be solidly connected to an area of metal on the vehicle body that is clear of oils, dirt, paint, rust or insulating materials. Often times, the easiest and most electrically solid connection is made by using a factory bolt, rather than adding your own screw.
This wire supplies (–) 0v ground (300mA max.) during remote start and while the 825K is armed. This output is intended to be connected to the Black wire (“85”) of the included 30/40A relay harness, as shown in Fig.8 below.
Engne Runnng Sensor. The Gray/Black wire is used by the remote start system to sense if the engine is running or not, so the 825K will know when to stop cranking the engine. By default, the TACH input is pro- grammed to read either the AC signal from the vehicle’s tachometer or...

Status LED during remote start. If the LED lights while cranking and the starter over-cranks, follow the “TACH Learn Procedure” at bottom to force the 825K to learn your vehi- cle’s Tach signal. ISSUE#2: The Status LED turns off while cranking and the starter keeps cranking a couple seconds after the engine starts.
(5) When the engine is running between 500-1200 RPM, press and hold the Program Switch until the siren chirps once. TACH is now learned. NOTE: If the siren chirps 4 times in Step-5, the 825K failed to learn the TACH signal. Check your connections and repeat the 5-step procedure, but also try stepping on the accelerator slightly to increase the RPM level.
This wire supplies (–)0v ground (300mA max.) during remote start to activate an optional relay for disarming factory alarms or immobilizers. This output can be programmed to send (–) ground while the 825K is armed. See line 13 on page 12 of the Owner’s Guide.
FIG.11: 2-Step Unlock for (–) TYPE-B Locking Systems TYPE-B2 The 2-Step Unlock wiring example above applies to most Asian manu- factured vehicles with TYPE-B door locks. Two-Step Unlock wiring for other door locking types is also possible. Please contact Kiramek Inc. for details.
(–) FIG.12: Brake Connection H3-17 BLU/BLK wre: (–) Door Trgger Input Connect this wire to door switches that feed (–)0v ground when opened. You can also connect to (–)0v Domelight Courtesy Switches (lights dome lamp when a door is opened). Otherwise, if your door switches feed (+)12v when opened, leave the Blue/Black wire disconnected.
Neutral Safet y Switch WARNING! DO NOT FINISH YOUR INSTALLATION AND RELEASE VEHICLE TO THE OWNER WITHOUT FIRST CONFIRMING THE PRESENCE OF THE VEHICLE’S NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH! Descrpton. You must take appropriate steps to ensure that your in- stallation has not defeated the vehicle’s built-in Neutral Safety Switch (“NSS”).

Gear Shifter FIG.14: Wiring for Safety with Mechanical Neutral Safety Switches The concept behind the above circuit is that the 825K can only start the engine while the Orange/Violet Brake input wire is (–) grounded. DANGER: When using the circuit in Fig.14, DO NOT connect the ORG/VIO wire to the brake pedal, hand/foot brake or any other input—the ECM wire...
