Mounting Tips

Support Arms should angle upward from
the horizontal. This positions bicycles away
from vehicle and higher from the ground.

Upper Frame
Upper Frame rests on vehicles with flat
backs like Minivans, Wagons, SUVs, and
many hatchbacks. Avoid resting on rear
window wipers and soft sheet metal.

Lower Frame
On most vehicles the Lower Frame rests
best at the top or bottom of license
plate. If it rests on the vertical portion of
trunk or hatch lid try to find the highest,
most solid area. Lower frame should be
as close to vertical as possible.

(most likely found in the center of large
flat areas like SUV hatches).
