    Socket panel Display Key pad Only OFS sensors can be connected to the µdox hand-held meter. The LAB-Pocket meter case is part of the equipment, as well as the hand-held meter and sen- sors. 9. Initial set up / operation For initial set up, the sensor cables should be inserted into the sensor sockets (2) as per the diagram in the chapter “Socket panel”, and tightened using the screw connector.

    Connection for the sensors supplied can be chosen freely. 10.2 Switch on the hand-held meter Switch on the device using [ON/OFF]. Then the OFS logo and the software version number are shown briefly on the display. Then comes the measurement view in the main menu.

    10.3 Switch off the hand-held meter Display illumination If a key is not pressed for two minutes, the hand-held meter reduces display brightness to protect battery life. The illumination switches back on the next time any key is pressed. If a key is not pressed for five minutes, the hand-held meter switches off automatically. The device can be switched on or off manually at any time using [ON/OFF].

    How can faulty calibration be resolved? Faulty calibration can only be resolved by a precise re-calibration. Where the conditions for precise calibration are lacking, this can be mitigated by a reset to factory settings. This function gives the user the option to reset the sensors to their initial position, however, this will not correspond to the current behaviour status of the sensors.

The data is transferred as text files. It is possible to copy the data, for example into Excel.
