- Page 4 OPERATION - “POP-UP” DIPSTICK A “pop-up” dipstick prevents overfilling of the oil drain. When the fluid level reaches the maximum usable level, the dipstick will pop up to indicate the drain needs emptying. To drain fluid from the vehicle: With the drain valve is closed, position the drain under the vehicle and raise the funnel to desired height.
