FIELD FLATTENER
Continue to thread the field flattener until it is snug and flush
against the focuser. The T-ring or additional extensions may now
be attached to the end of the field flattener to accomodate your
DSLR or CCD camera.
WARNING: LOOKING AT THE SUN CAN CAUSE SERIOUS EyE INjURy AND BLIND-
NESS. NEVER POINT A TELESCOPE AT OR NEAR THE SUN. VIEWING THE SUN
WITHOUT A PROPER SOLAR FILTER MAy RESULT IN BLINDNESS, AS WELL AS
DAMAGE TO THE INSTRUMENT. NEVER ALLOW CHILDREN TO USE BINOCULARS
OR TELESCOPES DURING THE DAyLIGHT HOURS, UNLESS THEy ARE SUPER-
STELLARVUE

  • Page 2 STEP 1 STEP 3 Locate the 2” adapter on the rear of the telescope. When completely unthreaded, set aside 2” adapter for future use. STEP 2 STEP 4 Unthread the 2” adapter by unscrewing Align the threads of the field flattener with the counter-clockwise.
