Operating your Breville Syncro Toaster
Before first use, remove any promotional stickers
or packaging material attached to your toaster
1. Insert the power plug into a 230/240 volt power
outlet and then turn the power on.
2. Place 1 slice of bread or 1 crumpet or half an
English muffin only into each of the toasting
slots. Ensure the bread slices or crumpets or
English muffin halves are not too large or too
thick to fit in the toasting slots
3. Select the desired Toast browning setting by
sliding the browning control slider on the front of
the toaster. Toast browning settings range from
'1' lightest to '7' darkest.
When using the toaster for the first time, it is
suggested to use Toast setting '4'. Varying types
of bread and personal preference may require a
different browning setting, for example, raisin
toast and white light-textured breads may require
a lighter setting, whilst heavier textured rye
breads may require a darker setting.
4. Press the 'TOAST/CANCEL' button on the top of
the toaster and the bread will automatically
be lowered into the toasting slots.
5. The toaster turns off when the desired toast
colour is achieved and automatically raises
the toast out of the toasting slots.
To reset the power to the toaster, switch the toaster
off at the power outlet for approximately 5 seconds.
The toaster can then be switched back on at the
power outlet and regain normal function.
DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED WHEN IN USE AS TOAST MAY JAM.
The toasting process can be stopped at any time
by pressing the 'TOAST/CANCEL' button located
on the top of the toaster.
Note
In the unlikely event that bread or crumpets
become jammed in the toasting slots, switch the
toaster off at the power outlet, remove the plug
and allow the toaster to cool completely before
carefully easing out the bread. Take care not to
damage the elements.
