Sierra Safety Technology, Inc. www.sierrasafety.com All rights reserved - © 2016 1. Overview The RED1 High Speed Detector senses the radiant energy of either a sudden combustion event or the slower flaming combustion of an average fire. The detectors covered by this manual use UV, IR, Temperature and Visible sensors to sense combustion.
Page 4: Field-Of-View
Sierra Safety Technology, Inc. www.sierrasafety.com All rights reserved - © 2016 All modes of operation are indicated by two LEDs located on the front of the detector. Normal Mode is indicated by a brief flash of the LEDs every 8 seconds. In Normal Mode the detector is constantly monitoring the environment for a fire.
