caution
you must not take out tubes during work – it may result in burning oneself.
the amplifier warms up substantially during work because of class a operation mode.
it is recommended to locate the amplifier in cool. airy spots,
far from accidental reach to avoid random touch and burn.
the amplifier should be located on airy shelves, with its bottom lifted on stands to enable
air circulation under its bottom.
it is not necessary to pair tubes – any in their production tolerance can be applied.
in this design of the amplifier the life of a 6c33c is 750 hrs.
after finishing the work, the amplifier is switched off with the switch and left to cool.
the amplifier works in class a and consumes many watts – up to 230.
it requires itself a 16a fuse in a household power system - when starting.
connecting
amplifier is ready for work after inserting two tubes 6c33c in their sockets. it connects with a standard
european 230v. the main button switches it on. on the opposite side is a turn switch in 6 positions for
volume control. to fully warm the tubes several minutes are required. the recommended speakers are high
impedance, but up 4 ohm can also be used. also satisfactory results are with high sensitivity speakers,
over 91db.
