Safety advice
Check the chain hoist before use: Check hook, chain and brake for proper operation and whether the
block has been lubricated, sufficiently. For a safe and secure operation, follow these six simple rules:
1. Never try to lift things that weigh more than the maximum capacity of the chain hoist (2 to.).
2. Never work the chain as a noose.
3. Never use the hoist with a knotted chain.
4. To avoid accidents, never stand under a load while being lifted.
5. In case of the chain being stuck, do not use excessive force but check the hoist block for
sufficient lubrication.
6. Only use the chain hoist for vertical lifting operations. The chain hoist has not been designed for
pulling/dragging heavy loads.
