Trane® ® Pivot™ ™ Smart Thermostat
Only qualified personnel should install and service the equipment. The installation, starting up,
and servicing of heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning equipment can be hazardous and
requires specific knowledge and training. Improperly installed, adjusted or altered equipment
by an unqualified person could result in death or serious injury. When working on the
equipment, observe all precautions in the literature and on the tags, stickers, and labels that
are attached to the equipment.

This controller has an intuitive interface for easy operation. Pivot Capabilities • Monitor and control the HVAC system using an Internet-enabled Smart Phone from any remote location.

    Creating a Trane Pivot Account 1. To create a Trane Pivot account, first go to the App Store for IOS or Google Play Store for Android and download the Trane Pivot mobile app to your smart phone.

    Settings Screen Feature Description Thermostat Set temperature scale, setpoint deadband, indoor temperature sensor calibration, outdoor temperature sensor calibration. Disables screen for 30 seconds to allow for cleaning.

    Enable After Hours — Timed Occupancy Override If schedule is disabled • Then this feature does not appear. In this situation, simply press the Unoccupied House to change to occupied set point. The thermostat will continue to use occupied setpoint until the house symbol is pressed again.

    Temporary Adjustment of Temperature N N o o t t e e : : Temperature adjustments (overrides) are only available anytime the thermostat is occupied or anytime the schedule is disabled. This describes how to temporarily override the temperature setpoint when in occupied mode.
