NVR Connection Setup

Connect a HDMI cable from the NVR to a monitor / television. Connect a Cat5e / 6 cable from

the NVR to the LAN port of a router. Plug in the included USB mouse to the NVR. Plug in the

power adapter to a power outlet. Note: A 2TB surveillance hard drive is preinstalled in the

NVR. USB and SD card ports are also provided for backing up onto external media

Page 1 Sumo Security Powerful Defense NVR Connection Setup Connect a HDMI cable from the NVR to a monitor / television. Connect a Cat5e / 6 cable from the NVR to the LAN port of a router. Plug in the included USB mouse to the NVR. Plug in the power adapter to a power outlet.
Page 2 Sumo Security Powerful Defense Camera Setup Install the camera inside or outside. The camera has an ingress rating of IP66 and can be installed outside in the elements. Plug in the power adapter to an available power source. The NVR will automatically detect the wireless camera. No pairing is necessary. In case the IP camera is not detected, the NVR user interface has an option to pair cameras.
