1. Notes for the user
NOTE
Dear customer,
Please read these instructions carefully. Keep these
instructions in a safe place and pass them on to possi-
ble future owners.
ATTENTION!
This device can be used by children aged 8
and over and by persons with limited physi-
cal, sensory or mental aptitude or lack of ex-
perience and/or knowledge, providing they
are supervised or have been instructed in the
safe use of the device and understand the
associated potential dangers. Children must
not play with the unit. Cleaning and user
maintenance may not be carried out by chil-
dren without supervision!
ATTENTION!
Children of less than 3 years should be kept
away unless continuously supervised!
ATTENTION!
Children between the ages of 3 and 8 may
switch the device on and off if they are su-
pervised or have been instructed in the safe
use of the device and have understood the
resulting dangers, providing that the device
is positioned or installed in its normal place
of use!
ATTENTION!
Children between the ages of 3 and 8 may
not insert the plug in the socket, control the
device, clean the device and/or carry out
user maintenance work!
ATTENTION!
Some parts of the device can get very hot
and cause burns. Particular caution is re-
quired if children or vulnerable persons are
present!

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid
a hazard!
ATTENTION!
Do not place the heater directly below a fixed
socket outlet.
ATTENTION!
Do not use the heating device close to a
bath, shower or swimming pool.
ATTENTION!
In order to avoid overheating do not
cover the heating device!
ATTENTION!
There is a potential risk of fire if the heating
device is switched on automatically and is
not monitored, e.g. if the device is covered or
blocked in in your absence!
ATTENTION!
To prevent a hazard due to the protection
temperature limiter being reset unintention-
ally, the device must not be supplied via an
external switching facility, such as a time
switch, or connected with an electric circuit
that is switched on and off regularly via a de-
vice!
ATTENTION!
To reduce the risk of fire, keep fabrics, cur-
tains or other flammable materials at least 1
m away from the air grille.
To guarantee safe operation, the heating device

may only be installed and connected in accord-
ance with these installation and operating instruc-
tions.
The device must only be installed by a qualified

electrician in accordance with the applicable
safety regulations.
