- Page 6 Before you start using the maxTV Stream service. Are you using the HDMI cable? Make sure you’re using the HDMI 2.0 cable (HDCP 2.2 compliant), included with the box, so that your video is displayed properly. Does your media box require a software update? Your media box might require updates when you start it up for the first time.
