● Empty t he b ag a nd c heck t he r ope i s t ied i nto t he i nside o f t he b ag c orrectly.
● Check t he r ope a s f ollows:
○ Cuts i n t he r ope
○ Snags o f t he o uter s heath o f t he r ope
○ Check i f t he w hite c ore i s v isible a t a ny p oint a long t he l ength o f t he l ine
○ Check f or c ontamination, i .e. f uel e ither v isibly o r a s trong s mell.
○ Check t he e nd o f t he l ine i s n ot f rayed o r f urred u p.
● Check t he b ag a s f ollows:
○ The b ag i s n ot f rayed, s pit, s nagged o r t orn.
○ Check t he y ellow a ttachment p oint i s i ntact i nside a nd o ut, n o f rays, t ears o r s nags.
○ Check f or c ontamination, i .e. f uel e ither v isibly o r a s trong s mell.
○ Check t he d raw c ord i s i n f ull w orking o rder a nd t he c losure i s w orking a nd s tays c losed.
● Repack t he r ope a nd c heck t he l ine f or a ny k nots, r emoving i f f ound
These c hecks s hould t ake l ess t han t wo m inutes. I f a ll i s i n o rder r epack t he b ag c orrectly a nd c lose
securely -­‐ the t hrowline i s r eady t o u se.
