Read the displayed value. A resistance < 120Ω will sound when
measuring continuity.
5.4 Diode Measurement
Insert the black test lead into the negative COM terminal and the red
test lead into the positive V terminal.
Set the function switch to Ω
Select the diode mode with the MODE button.
Connect the test leads with the diode to be measured. The forward
voltage will indicate 0.4V ~ 0.7V. Reverse voltage will indicate "OL".
Shorted devices will indicate near 0mV and an open device will indicate
"OL" in both polarities.

5.5 Data Hold Function
Press HOLD to freeze the value onto the display. Press again to resume
normal operation.
5.6 MAX Hold
Press MAX to freeze the highest value onto the display. Press again to
resume normal operation.
5.7 Manual Ranging
Press the RANGE button to set the range manually. Press and hold the
button to return to the auto ranging mode.

Remove the screws using an appropriate Philips head screwdriver.
Replace the batteries with 2 x AAA batteries.
Reassemble the meter before use.
