Good morning How to assemble and set the slip clutch of a falcon cutter
To assemble and set the slip clutch of a Falcon cutter:
1. Confirm proper operation of the PTO driveshaft friction clutch before use, especially after long-term storage.
2. Release the pre-load on the friction clutch plates by loosening the nuts (refer to Fig. 5-A in the manual).
3. Ensure there is no corrosion or binding in the clutch mechanism.
4. Use only original Falcon parts as specified in the parts list.
5. Incorrect adjustment may cause damage not covered under warranty.
Make sure the tractor engine is off, the handbrake is applied, and the ignition key is removed before working on the implement.
