Assembly
Step 1. Choose a level area for your raised bed. If
you are installing it on a lawn, we recommend
removing the sod and loosening the soil with
a shovel or spade to a depth of 6".
Step 2. Take 2 of the 4' Wood Boards and 2 of the
6' Wood Boards and lay them on their sides to form a rectangular bed. Seat the ends of the Boards
into four of the Aluminum Corners (Figure 2). Make sure the Boards are fully seated and level with
the bottom of the Corners. Use your screw gun to insert Screws into the holes in the Corners.
Step 3. Repeat Step 2 to assemble the 4' x 4', 2' x 4' and 2' x 2' raised beds (Figure 1).
Step 4. Sit the 4' x 4' raised bed on top of the 4' x 6' Raised Bed, as shown in Figure 1. Place the 2' x 4'
Raised Bed on top of the 4' x 4' bed.
Step 5. Make sure the Corners of the Raised Beds are lined up as shown in Figure 1 and slide the 20"
Corner Stake through the three Corners stacked on top of each other. Slide
the 13" Corner Stakes into the two sets of two Corners stacked on top of
each other. NOTE: If necessary, use a rubber mallet to tap the Corner Stakes
into place.
Step 6. Starting with the 2' x 4' Bed, use a Tape Measure to mark 16" in on
both sides of the 4' Board that sits directly on top of the 4' x 4' Raised Bed
(Figure 3). Place a 21" Flat Support at each marked spot. Make sure the
Supports are straight, and use your screw gun to attach them to the Raised
Beds.
Step 7. Use a Tape Measure to mark 12" in on the 2' Board that has both the
4' x 4' and 4' x 6' bed underneath it (Figure 4). Place the remaining 21" Flat
Support at the marked spot and make sure it is straight before attaching it to
the Raised Beds.
Step 8. Measure 12" in on the same 4' Wood Board that you just attached the
21" Flat Support to (Figure 4). Place a 13" Flat Support at the marked spot.
Make sure it is straight, then use your screw gun to attach it to the Raised
Beds.
