WALL LADDER
ASSEMBLY AND DIMENSIONING
LADDER PLACEMENT
The best placement for the ladder is the gable where snow loads cannot damage the ladder and
its fastenings. If you intend to install the ladder to the side of the house, we recommend installing
snow guards on both sides of the ladder.
• Choose the leg length so that the rung distance is a minimum of 200 mm measured from the
nearest protruding part (for example the eaves). The legs can be shortened.
• Top rung ± 100 mm from the eaves
• Lowest rung 1100 ± 100 mm from the ground level or other starting point
Placement of wall legs:
• The topmost wall legs are fastened as close to the eaves as possible
• The lowermost wall legs are fastened halfway between the two
lowest rungs
• Maximum distance between wall legs is 3000 mm
• Use an eaves support every time the wall leg length is 50 cm or more.
