The Lens Gear SEL30M35 allows manually focusing with the Sony
SEL30M35 lens when used inside housings featuring the Fantasea FML port

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Mount the Sony SEL30M35 lens on the camera.
2. Hold the Lens Gear SEL30M35 in front of the lens so that the gear teeth are facing the lens. Install the Lens
Gear SEL30M35 on the lens by gliding it from the front of the lens towards the camera body (Fig.1).
3. Note that the only proper position of the Lens Gear on the lens is demonstrated in Fig.1. Any other
position of the Lens Gear will result with failure to operate the housing Lens Dial control.
a. When properly seated on the lens, the front edge of the Lens Gear should reach about 0.5mm
behind the front edge of the lens focus ring (Fig.1).
b. Make sure that the front edge of the Lens Gear is completely parallel to the front edge of the lens
focus ring (Fig.1) rather than tilted (Fig.2 on the following page).
c. Pushing the Lens Gear all the way in towards the camera body (Fig.3 on the following page) will
necessarily eliminate operation of the housing Lens Dial control.
