Push-button P1 and therefore its corresponding functions can be repea- ted by using an external push-button connected to terminals 4 and 5 (see application diagram).

    INSTALLATION Mounting The enclosure is prepared for the inlet of wires from the raceway to the wall (remo- ving the special walls on the right upper part see picture) from under floor pipe or flush-mounting box, thanks to the special opening seated on the base.

    Areas to be avoided – Do not install the detector in closed areas or rooms closed by doors, walls or other obstacles which may block the flow of gas towards the detector. – Do not install the detector in rooms where the temperature can drop below -5°C and in rooms where it can rise above 35°C.

    INTRODUCTION Gas detectors are high-technology devices in which the presence of cer- tain combustible gases triggers an alarm. We recommend to refer to authorised technicians for their installation, for routine and special maintenance and for disassembling after 5 years. The detectors are designed to trigger the alarm off when gas concentra- tion reaches a threshold between 5% and 15% of the lowest explosion limit (L.E.L.).

  • Page 33 WARNING In case of alarm: 1) Estinguish any flames. 2) Close the cock of the gas meter or the LPG bottle. 3) Do not switch any lamps on or off and do not switch any electrical appliances or devices. 4) Ventilate the room by opening doors and windows. If the alarm stops it is necessary to find the cause that triggered it and take suitable action.
