The ball joint does not easily fit into the ball joint socket...do I force it into the socket ...I don't want to damage the ball joint socket. Thanks for your help.

Operation Instructions Installing the PhoneStation Cup Holder Base 1. Place the Socket Cap on the Ball Joint Socket located on the back side of the Phone Mount and turn clockwise. Do NOT tighten the Socket Cap at this time. 2. Insert the Ball Joint at the end of the Flexible Neck into the Ball Joint Socket of the Phone Mount.

Operation Instructions cont’d 4. With the Locking Adapters fully inserted within the Base, place the Mount in the desired cup holder. 5. Once in place, turn the Locking Adapter Dial clockwise until the Locking Adapters tightly secure the Base within the Cup Holder. 6.

Operation Instructions cont’d Air Vent Clip 1. Place the Socket Cap on the Ball Joint Socket located on the back side of the Phone Mount and turn clockwise. Do NOT tighten the Socket Cap at this time. 2. Insert the Ball Joint of the Air Vent Clip into the Ball Joint Socket of the Phone Mount.

Operation Instructions cont’d 4. With the Locking Lever in the vertical position, slide the Air Vent Clip onto an air vent fin. 5. Once you have the Phone Mount in the desired location, flip the Locking Level to the side to tighten the Vent Clips.
